Good wishes for another new year to come

The calendar year is ending in a few hours and we will all be older. Will we be any wiser for all that we have experienced during the past 12 months? What lessons have we learned from seeing the days pass? What mistakes will we swear to avoid? What good things will we try to repeat? Whose good name will we drag through the dirt, and whose bad reputation will we try to uphold? How often will we put our own situation to one side to help someone who has a need? When will we be faced with needs that cannot be met and hope that help will be at hand?

I will not try to be the sage for the age, but will try to learn my own personal lessons and pass on, when I can, what I think are good lessons that others have to offer.

Have as enjoyable a time as you can as the year winds down and look forward to better things and better ways.
